Travelling to Ulm

In terms of travelling climate friendly, we would suggest you to take the train as described below. On conference days, public transportation within Ulm is included in your fees.

By Plane

The closest airports to Ulm are Stuttgart STR, Munich MCO, and Frankfurt FRA.

By Car

Ulm is located close to Autobahn A8 (west-east) and Autobahn A7 (north-south).

By Train

Ulm is connected by fast train connections to other cities in Germany and Europe as well. You can set Ulm Main Station (also called Ulm Hauptbahnhof or Ulm Hbf in German) as destination at your preferred ticket selling service or just use the following link to use the booking service of Deutsche Bahn.

From Ulm to Ulm University

The conference will take place on the campus of Ulm University in building N27. The campus is easily reachable by tram, bus, and car.

By Public Transportation

Ulm University can be easily reached by public transportation. Take tram line 2 in direction Science Park II and get off at stop Universität Süd. During the day, the tram goes every 5 - 10 Minutes.

Free public transport is included in your conference fees.

By Car

You can use the parking garage at Helmholtzstraße (5€ per day). The conference rooms are reachable by a 5 minute walk from the parking lot.
